Again We Are Inspired and Going for Broke

We are on a bit of Hiatus, but not really. You know we recently moved, and though we are adjusting well to the new digs, there is still much to do with the homestead as well as the blog. There is nothing more motivating than a life-stage change to give one a focus. You really learn what matters in life.  Don't want to keep talking myself out of doing things or being timid about showing people who I am and what makes me happy. Don't want to wanna keep quoting cliches either so let's stop with that too.

I was not able to go to BlogPaws again this year, but I was able to listen to keynote and sessions online during and after the event, and I must say I was very inspired by what I watched. I’m feeling a bit more empowered to take on some ideas I have pushed away because I, was...well... too afraid to fail (thinking I could not pull it off or that it would not be received well). I decided life is too short to exist in a constant state of fear. I will be working on those changes for the summer. I guess that haircut affected me more than I thought. I was asked by one of my social scientist colleagues at my job how my drastic hairstyle change has affected me; socially, emotionally, etc.  I've been surprised how people saw me, and it's obvious to me now I really needed the change...really need to change...much more than my hair.

We won’t be doing Catification anymore and not much on TV unless it’s social commentary. You will see more of Washington DC and something that has been a passion of mine, but I won’t tell you what it is until I’m ready to present it.

We are also looking to add to the family again. It has been a year since Maus died. She can never be replaced in our hearts or within the family. We do miss however having a third wheel, so we are in the process of adding a new family member. As soon as they find us, they’ll make themselves known.

Going for Broke, hang in there with us.

    1. Moshe Moshi kinda misses the hair (less to play with and can no longer use my hair as a blanket), but it's growing on him :o)
