C'mon, Just One Freakin' Pic (or how we show community spirit)

Our first attempt at doing Santa Claus pictures a few years back (this was our Xmas 2011 photo) was not a great success. Moshe Moshi would not hold his head up and smile, Jake wanted to explore the tree, and Maus was annoyed and fussy, and I could not get her to sit still and not "Ack" at me. I was not planning on being in the picture. My hair was a hot mess.  I had pajamas on because hours before was the Pajama-Rama sale (stores in the neighborhood gave you a discount if you had your jammies on). The cat’s picture was to be the last thing I did before going home. Not our best moment, but it was fun.

If you are around Takaom Park in the wee hours, this weekend is the 15th Annual Pajamarama Shopping Spree! From 7:00 am through 10:00 am, shop at participating businesses and receive great discounts to kick off your holiday shopping! The catch? You must be wearing pajamas (or nightgowns) to receive your discount! Sweats don't count!

Sitting with Santa!

Sunday, December 7th, 2014 FROM 11:00 AM TO 3:00 PM Holiday Photos with Your Pet ~ a Benefit for Washington Humane Society

Right on the heels of Pajamarama, The Big Bad Woof will have Santa in the house! Bring your pet to meet Santa and have their unique holiday picture taken! Every year, the Washington Humane Society hosts Holiday Photos with your Pet - a great chance for a new holiday card. Suggested donation of $20. It's a funny way to help shelter animals and create a keepsake memory for years to come.

  1. how funny! Sometimes the photos where they are a little less than cooperative end up being the best/funniest!

    1. I looked like such a wreck and I so did not want to be in the picture, but I couldn't do anything but laugh. That picture was from Christmas 2011. We've (Santa and I) have developed a better strategy since then, so this year's pic will be much more relaxed, but you very know, the boyz could have other plans :o)

We've tried a few times to include Ginger dog in our Christmas photo and sometimes she is more cooperative than other times...!
